This was up on twitter on Sunday. One Facebook/Twitter post at 10 p.m. on a Sunday. Not the greatest of timing. While I commend whoever runs the Facebook/Twitter accounts on their efforts for keeping us posted on all things women's soccer-related, I wish more effort would be applied to the team that garners (and needs) the most visibility.

Plus, not everyone follows that twitter stuff. Hell, I don't even have a cell phone.
Just today I received an email about the upcoming games.
If SRT would not have sent me a note on FB about this, I wouldn't even have known about it.
Poor, poor job by the athletic department on this one.

Now they end up with two bad teams on the network anyways. Your team is good? How many top 100 RPI wins do you have? You've lost 3 of 4. Your outside of the RPI top 100 despite a roster with 9 upperclassmen. I guess expectations have really fallen during the Jeter era. All 4 teams in the vote are middle of the pack mid-majors. Our Green Bay team at least has an exciting future that fans want to see. It's 3rd and t-5th place or t-5th and 8th place. I don't think there's a surefire NCAA tournament team in there, but two plus-.500 teams make a better game than two sub-.500 teams.

Ridiculous that we are put to another vote. How about Wright State? Never? How about 2007.

All 4 teams in the vote are middle of the pack mid-majors. True. For 99% of America, there is no difference between any of these teams. Our Green Bay team at least has an exciting future that fans want to see. You're delusional. See my first point.

Watched the Cleveland State-Loyola game yesterday.
This method for selecting games on ESPNU is really working.

I don't think this was a HL voting weekend, since YSU-UIC played on Thursday.

I don't think this was a HL voting weekend, since YSU-UIC played on Thursday. It wasn't. But now Loyola -- and other notables such as UT Martin and SIU Edwardsville -- have one more national television appearance this season than the Panthers. Ridiculous.

We all know the only reason UT-Martin and SIU Edwardsville made it on ESPNU is that they were playing Murray State.
I wish ESPN would just make the pick and not have a vote. Have fun with GB-WSU, ESPNU!

Now, does everyone see how the flaws in selecting Horizon League games for broadcast has hurt the Milwaukee program ... and the league?
Well, at least one 15-year-old in Ashwaubenon with a computer in his parents' basement and a Facebook account is happy.
