Ridiculous that we are put to another vote. Who is conference champs here? When was the last time Green Bay won conference? When Dick Bennett was there? How about Wright State? Never? Now, is the Facebook the official vote or do we have to go somewhere else for the official vote? Anyone know for sure? www.facebook.com/questions/10150490333255754/?notif_t=question_answerI want to see something from our Athletic Department telling everyone to vote for this. Send out a damn email telling people to vote!!! TODAY and every day 'till it's announced!!

It's an OK move for ESPNU to do a vote. Why put a wrong game on that fans don't want to watch. I do like the e-mail idea, but that is not for Rick to do. That type of stuff is what Kevin puts on Twitter.

Sorry, but no it is not okay for the Horizon League to let them do this. If it was Butler there would be no vote, even if they haven't been to two straight Tourney Finals.
The point is we still get no respect from our very own League. If they wanted to, they would tell ESPN they want their reigning League Champs on TV.
And I didn't mean Rick personally to put it out. I mean someone in the Athletic Department to send it out. Yes, I understand that would be Kevin.

This system is a complete and utter joke. So far, it's failed to deliver the reigning conference champs a single nationally televised game.
Now, Milwaukee and Detroit -- with several of the most exciting players in the league -- are going to take a beat seat to a pair of .500 teams that are experiencing the inevitable growing pains.

Well as of right now it's 989 to 913 in favor of Milwaukee/Detroit. Dylan, I think it's finally time for you to create a Facebook page just for things like this.

The vote is not to smart, but I do like that ESPNU can pick one of the two games. You don't want to make a pick in fall, and have it turn out to be two bad teams on your network.

Great.
Vote is now 1,747 to 1,677. Not in our favor.
And wow, look at that, still no email from anyone in the AD telling people about this vote.

@horizonleague: Fans have spoken on @espnhomecourt Facebook Fan Poll. Feb. 10 ESPNU game will be #UWGB @ Wright State, winning 1769-1718.

Now they end up with two bad teams on the network anyways. Your team is good? How many top 100 RPI wins do you have? You've lost 3 of 4. Your outside of the RPI top 100 despite a roster with 9 upperclassmen. I guess expectations have really fallen during the Jeter era. All 4 teams in the vote are middle of the pack mid-majors. Our Green Bay team at least has an exciting future that fans want to see.

Let's not kid ourselves here ... I'm guessing Wright State's fan base had a lot more to do with winning that poll than Green Bay's.

I thought we rate how good teams are in this league by how many wins in league play you have....or at least that is how I do it. Let's face it, nobody in this conference gets at large bids....so its all about conference play IMO.
Also, this 'loss' falls on the Milwaukee Panthers Athletic Department. They needed to push students to vote for our game via email like what GB did.
