Why were they not available tonight and in sweatsuits? I believe Evan Richard and Ja'Rob are still hurt, but what is the deal with Harris and S. Boga?

On one of the other threads it was stated that they have been suspended. McCallum also. Have no idea if that is accurate or not.

It is accurate. All I got out of my sources were that they "violated team rules," and that it's nothing to worry about - in other words, it was not a serious offense.

Would Ja'Rob have been available to play if not suspended, or is he still injured? I thought Jeter said he may redshirt either on the Rob Jeter Show or in the newspaper.
Any injury status on Evan Richard? Is his back something he is going to have to contend the rest of his career?

Any injury status on Evan Richard? Is his back something he is going to have to contend the rest of his career? Good questions, kaygee. Ja' Rob is still injured, unavailable and by all accounts headed for a redshirt. Evan's back is still troublesome and has likely shelved him for the remainder of the year. No mention if this will cloud his future. To paraphrase Coach Dale: "These are our nine!"

Demetrious is a great athlete with very little skill. He could really have used a redshirt year, but that's water under the bridge. We'll need him to develop those skills during the off-season because he has to be more productive for us next year. But you never know -- at the same point I had almost written off Marcus Skinner for similar reasons and he just about became my favorite player as a senior.
Shaq is a freshman playing like a freshman. There's not much mystery to it. It's the loss of Lonnie, Ja'Rob and Evan that have really hurt us in the back.

I really feel that the loses of Ja'Rob and Lonnie took alot away from the offensive side of the ball. May have helped the D, tho

I really feel that the loses of Ja'Rob and Lonnie took alot away from the offensive side of the ball. May have helped the D, tho Losing Lonnie didn't help the D. Losing Ja'Rob did - but I'm willing to take the lumps from essentially the opposing team's third guard in exchange for Ja'Rob's scoring ability. Losing Ja'Rob for the time we have lost him has been a very big deal. This team is probably much better on the offensive end (or at the very least more consistent) with McCallum on the team. Put it this way: in four of his six games, he scored 9 or more points.
