With 863 career points, Tony Meier currently needs 137 points to reach 1,000 for his UWM career. With 13 guaranteed games remaining (12 in the regular season, 1 in the HL Tournament), Tony needs to average 10.54 points per game over that stretch to achieve the milestone.

With at least three games remaining, Tony Meier needs 32 points to become the 25th player in program history -- and 13th in Division 1 -- to join the 1,000-point club.
Tony has recently increased his season scoring average to 10.4 points per game.

With 17 points against UIC on Thursday, Tony is now 15 points away from becoming the 13th player in the program's Division 1 history -- and the third in as many seasons -- to reach the 1,000-point club.

I'm so happy for Tony, who broke the 1,000-point barrier with a flourish on Saturday.
He looks like his old self again; I've never seen him happier than he was after the game.
With two points Tuesday, he'll pass Anthony Hill for 24th place on the all-time list.
With 10 points, he'll pass the sharpshooter Pat McCabe (1994-98, 1,020) for 23rd.
