Walker's Point is only dangerous if you are afraid of being hit on by the same sex.

Wasn't someone murdered just up the Block from Steny's, just a few years ago? One murder in "a few years" hardly makes an area dangerous. In fact, one thing the sensationalizing local media doesn't understand (or at least doesn't make clear) is that very few murders that happen in urban cities are random. They usually happen because someone made a bad decision when they should've known better... and when it happens outside of a bar or club, it's usually a case of guys with "beer muscles" taking a simple conflict to very unnecessary levels. In other words, the city is perfectly safe so long as you don't drink yourself to the point of making idiotic decisions. If someone can't at least do that, they shouldn't be going out anywhere, period.

I grew up on 96th and Oklahoma, and someone was murdered around the block a couple years ago. Maybe I shouldn't go back.
