Was it me, or did Tony Meier look lost or sick? perhaps hungover from his previous shooting performance. Regardless of his ailment, we can't afford too many more outings of Tony not playing like an all-conference player. He's a senior and our best scorer, we need him to step up to the plate if we want to remain competitive down the stretch.

Tony has looked like crap in the last 3 or 4 games, I didn't make the Neb-Omaha game but since the Madison game he has been in a helluva funk it sure seems. Before the game I was wondering why he hadn't cracked the starting lineup yet, but after these last few games i honestly see no reason for him to start yet. We need Tony to get out of this funk and go back to being the Tony we all know he can be otherwise I think there could be a lot of problems down the road, this team was totally gassed in the first half and needed someone to step in and be the go to guy a role that we have all seen Tony take in the past and he was nowhere to be found at all.

Tony had a solid game at Valpo after the bad shooting game at Marquette.

This is the best that I can get by taking a picture with my phone off the TV... but I have zero artistic ability when it comes to computers. Attachments:

The two technical free throws he allowed ended up being the deciding points, and he was "defending " Kaylon on that last shot, so LOLOLOLOL

The two technical free throws he allowed ended up being the deciding points, and he was "defending " Kaylon on that last shot, so LOLOLOLOL He is the youngest player in the nation, he will learn from this experience. On the last play there was supposed to be a switch, Cougill was the player who was out of position on that play. This board would have gone crazy if they UWM had lost because of that technical. You won that is all that matters. It will be fun watching Sykes for the next 3.5 years.
