That alone should mean he is automatically in during any game we are winning late. I want shooters who will put the game away from the line. Obviously today wasn't one of those games but regardless its nice to see someone step up at the line!

The story hasn't made its way to the board yet, but the shot is actually quite believable.
The Panthers call a timeout with what turned out to be 1.1 seconds left.
The play is drawn with Kaylon inbounding the ball and Tony receiving the pass.
Kaylon jumps up in the huddle and says, "(Golly gee whiz) no! (Golly gee whiz) no! I'll make the shot!! I'm making the shot!!!"
So the play is re-drawn with Paris inbounding the ball to Kaylon on the left wing. Swish!!!
This guy's not a shooter, but he is a big-time, clutch shot-maker. I want him on my side.

Here's the lede to tomorrow's game summary ...
Phoenix loses heartbreaker on Williams shot
By Gary D'Amato Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
Kaylon Williams hit a three-point shot at the buzzer to lift the UW-Milwaukee men's basketball team to a thrilling 64-63 victory over UW-Green Bay in a Horizon League game at the U.S. Cellular Arena on Saturday night.
Williams missed a shot from the baseline with 2 seconds left but the Panthers retained possession when the ball was knocked out of bounds by one of the Phoenix.
With 1.1 seconds left, Williams took the inbounds pass from Paris Gulley behind the three-point line on the left wing and put up a shot over UWGB freshman Keifer Sykes.
The ball touched nothing but net.
"The last play of the game, we just froze," said UW-Green Bay coach Brian Wardle. "We froze. The whole game we talked about running them off the three, running them off the three.
"We did a decent job until the last play and we just froze."

Saluting on the opposing team's home court is bad karma.... haha...when you consider the opponent, the circumstances, and the post-game celebration...that mightve topped UIC 09 for my favorite game since i started at UWM (though tods' last game against us in the Cell was a great time too)

It's very accurate for Wardle to say that they absolutely blew it on the defense on that final play. He's still a young coach in my mind and he got out coached there. Keifer Sykes is good, but not very disciplined. That team has talent, but is very beatable, they were really stoned for quite a long time in the second half. We had good 'D' (I'll call it our normal 'D') then. If we play like we have earlier in the season, we win by 10-15....
