I was just playing around with ideas and wondering what might the Horizon League helmets look like for football. I'm going to do some more with these and will repost any updates. Awesome! Only I see at least half of these schools introducing some kind of stylized monogram if they don't have one already... they tend to look better on helmets than actual logos.

Here are a couple helmet logos based on Illwauk’s logo design. The colors are the Black and Gold currently used by Milwaukee Athletics plus the addition of Cream as a third color. |

Here are a couple designs of football uniforms based on Illwauk’s logo design:   The first uniform design is used with the “M” logo as the color Cream.   The second uniform design is used with the “M” logo as the Gold used by Milwaukee Athletics. |

I think Illwauk's M would look awesome. Thank you, sir! I designed it specifically to look good on a helmet. Anyway, uwfenske inspired me to do my own Horizon League football concept. Although I didn't do any of the teams that actually exist... Youngstown and Butler have too much history with their designs to consider a change and I couldn't find a big enough copy of Valpo's logo to do what I wanted with it. But their helmets are pretty much perfect as is... the only thing I'd do is swap out white shells for brown ones. I made up for the absence of those teams by doing three different versions of a Panthers helmet... I didn't think anyone here would mind ;D  |

hardhat, those are really cool...well done. I like the Butler, UIC, WSU, and YSU helmets. The rest are kind of "meh" to me. Be curious to see the UIC one with a white grill instead of yellow...I think that might make it even more attractive.

I think the UIC one Fenske put together was the coolest. Although Illwauk's Loyola logo is the absolute coolest thing I've seen. Waaaaaaaay better than their open-mouth doggie logo.

I'll be the first to admit there's really no beating the UIC helmet that Fenske posted. Though it reminds me a lot of the old Birmingham Fire of the World League.  If the Flames ever brought back football, they could wear those and not have to change a thing! |
