Traveling to DePaul

Monday, the Panthers travel down to DePaul. Game time is 8 p.m. and several of us are planning to make the 90-minute drive.

Does anyone want to join the crowd heading down? I've spoken with several people at the game and afterward last night who will not be part of our party but will be in attendance.

At the game last year, DePaul's crowd was absolutely awful. With about 50 people, we could easily take this place over.

It would be pushing it for some people as everyone would be getting back around midnight. But the opportunity to take over a Big East arena is something we don't have every day, and we'd absolutely be able to do it.

We need people to offer to drive extra cars and people who just want to go and be willing to chip in a few bucks.

Man I have been hoping to make one of the road trips with you guys and this would have been the perfect one since its not overly far away.

But, lucky me I have an exam bright and early Tuesday morning so it doesn't appear I'll be able to go. I will have to "study" while watching the game.

I live in Lincoln Park about a half mile from DePaul's campus. Too bad they play in Rosemont! I am still planning on going if I can get out of work in time. Is there a section that everyone will be in? Thanks, Nick

From what I've heard, they get less fans to their games than we do. At least for their non-conference games.

So, I'm sure you shouldn't have a problem finding and sitting in the Panther section(s) no matter where your actual tickets are.

Just to remind everyone: tonight's game starts at 8 p.m. That leaves ample time for those getting off work at 5 p.m. tonight to get down to Rosemont.

Rest assured that plenty of great seats are still available.

A vocal cheering section could make a difference in the outcome tonight.
