Kaylon's team is 23-15 with him in the starting lineup; Ray, Jr.'s team is 20-20.
Those are the numbers that mean the most to me.
Without question, some of that speaks to coaching.

Williams feels like a leader when he speaks. When McCallum Jr. speaks I feel like there is no substance to it. Again I have only seen McCallum play a handful of times.

Incredibly, that was a critical shot in the game against Austin Peay, helping prevent the Titans from starting the season 2-5.

Ray Jr. is grossly overrated. A typical coach's kid. The NBA talk is laughable, because he will wind up feeding passes to Joe Alexander in the D-league before a team would waste an active roster spot on him. Kaylon is out of his league, and beyond that Shaq will prove to be a better point guard than Jr. when it's said and done.

I remeber a time when people here were blasting BP over his prediction that at some point int time Ant Hill would be as good or better than Matt Howard. At the time Howard was clearly the better player, but over time, Hill came into his own and Jimmy's prediction came true. So I find it ironic that this comparison is made by the man who made the Hill-Howard comparison/predcition. Now, I want to let the readers know that this is not a statement on who will be the better player over the course of their career; I think Ray Jr. is headed to the NBA and Williams is headed overseas. Instead, this is a comparison of who is the better player today.
I think I’ve made my point clear. And the point being that these comparisons are useful? One is a red shirt senior and the other a true sophomore. One plays on a better coached team with a better supporting cast. I would expect Williams to have better stats at this point in time. Nice article Jimmy, but the comments after the article are useless. Just go back in time and look at Jimmy's Hill-Howard discussions.

I think if you look at the SMSU game and what we were without Kaylon, you'd be able to see that this team is lost without him. With him, he makes everyone around him better.
I don't get the sense that Ray Jr. does that.
