Awesome.
I remember when the season-ticket base was 16.
We've come a long, long way in just 20 years.

Student section was ho-hum. Going up against a Badger game, non-D-I opponent, it was about what I expected. 150-200 standing in the section.

This is the first time since about 2003 that I didn't renew my tickets. I'll still attend a few games but I just have too much crap going on to justify buying them knowing I'll end up eating a bunch of the tickets. I plan on renewing, maybe even next season, but for this season its going to be single game tix.

Season ticket sales are up, and our athletics department budget deficit is down to about $200,000 from consistently hovering around $1.5 million. Things are looking good.

I would think this number would be over 2,000. Since, UWM for the past few years never has a crowd under that total. The number must bump to that, because the Cell gets tickets. Something that Kevin (SID) told me.

A lot of our sports are cutting back to bare bones budgets. That's not sustainable. We need to bring in more revenue.
If anyone here has the ability, consider putting a small donation into the Panther Fund.

As Rick has pointed out as well, ticket sales are huge!
We have the ability of word of mouth to tell people we run into at stores, gas stations, fast food, jobs, etc. who are just plain sports fans about the great deal of Panther Basketball.

Believe I have tried without success. Friends, relatives, some who are alumni and some who are sports fans. You hear the usual crap from them. When was the last time they were in the tournament? Who is coaching now? They play in the same league as Butler, don't they? Regardless of what I tell them, simply no interest. It sucks. I personally have run out of people to ask. I hope there are others out there who can persuade people and have better luck.

That being said they didn't but season tix this year even though I encouraged it but said they will still make it to 5 or more games. Hey its something
