I believe Butler just lost.
Nothing big seeing as how this type of stuff happens once in a while every year but not something I expected.

6pts from your bench in an exhibition game is not a good thing.

What is Belmont of the OVC doing in this poll ... or Weber State of the Big Sky? Where's Xavier ... or Memphis? Did you notice that BYU, which moved from the off-limits Mountain West to the West Coast, is now in play for the mid-major top 25? Belomt is in the tlantic Sun and is everyons favorite cinderella this season. They went 30-4 last season and of the four, two were to Pearl's Tenn team by 9 points and by 1 point. At Vandy a loss by 9. and they return there whole team.

Ive said it to anyone who will listen, Butler is not going to be good this year. Look at that boxscore and although it is one game the fact that they scored 50 against Northland State is a sign of things to come. They dont have the offensive fire power to consistently score.

Belmont isn't a mid-major. Neither is Weber State.

One of the biggest hindrances to mid-majors is the fact that we get lumped in with low-majors. There is just as distinct a difference between mid-majors and low-majors as there are between high-majors and mid-majors.
