For those interested, Coach Jeter will be on the Bill Michaels Show on 1250 WSSP (11am-2pm). Not sure what time he will be slotted to appear.

Yea i heard that yesterday in the promo but I have yet to hear a time.
I will only be able to catch 2nd half of the show so I hope Jeter is on then.
Otherwise 1250 usually posts all interviews on their website and I'll listen to it there.

I like Bill.
He will have interviewed all 4 D-1 coaches before the season and said he will have them all on throughout the season.

I heard the Brian Wardle interview. At the end he said he hoped to get Rob on sometime this week. Must not have been available.

I'll believe it, when I see that Bill Michaels will be at some basketball games.

I think Bill is now free to cover who he wants. At WTMJ I assume you are kind of forced to talk about the teams they broadcast, Wisconsin, Packers, Brewers, and Bucks.

I've been listening to Bill's show since he got on. That interview with Jeter was far from the norm. He's mentioned the Panthers probably twice outside that interview.

Yeah but if you look at when he started his show (a couple months ago) basketball hasn't been on the radar at all. I don't think he is going to give them a ton of coverage but if he at least talks about them once a week, that's more than most places on the dial. I do think that Milwaukee radio gives the people what they want and sadly most people don't want to hear about the panthers.

Wasn't there something more immediate that was worth talking about, like the Brewers and the Packers back when he came back in August? Just saying. I know that once November kicks in, Michaels does start talk about basketball...

No kidding....i cant think of any news before the scrimmage for Bill Michaels to report on....Alot of unknown which wont make a good story if you ask me....it could be worse, we could still have Jim Rome and his useless rants and clone talk.....

No kidding....i cant think of any news before the scrimmage for Bill Michaels to report on....Alot of unknown which wont make a good story if you ask me....it could be worse, we could still have Jim Rome and his useless rants and clone talk..... Bill Michaels simply reads headlines, doesn't have an original take on most issues and just adds to the garbage local lineup WSSP already has. I think I saw him at the scrimmage last Thursday. Should be interesting to see if he goes to these games. He did have an envelope that the season tickets came in. I remember being at Bootleggers before a game and he was doing his show live and they were giving out Bucks tickets for a game the same night, tickets to a Marquette game the next night and he had a pair of Milwaukee tickets for that night's game. Instead of including them in the raffle with the other two, he made some comment about people not wanting them anyways and just said the first person to come up and take the tickets could have them. I was in a group of 4, all of us were going to the game and already had tickets. I would have loved to have won the MU tickets and asked if I could trade them for the Milwaukee tickets just to see his reaction. I know a lot of people who don't like Jim Rome, but that guy can do an interview better than anyone in the business. Do we really need 10+ hours of local coverage a day? Sorry for the rant.
