Unfortunately, the magnet schedule was not produced this year. It's very disappointing, as I have been collecting them as well.

What's the point of them then? Half of the season is gone. Don't waste the money. Want more laughs? Better late than never I suppose. Yeah I'm gonna disagree with you there. It's not like they'll be giving them out at the end of Feburary, there are 8 more men's home games and 10 more women's home games. Is it less conveniant than giving out at the start of the season? Yes, but they aren't the only way people can look up the schedule as they still had the pocket schedules and posters from the start. Oh and the website as well. If I'm reading the promotional schedule correctly, they are planning on giving away Panther basketball calendars at the Wright State game on January 12th and at the women's game vs. Cleveland State on the 19th. I have no idea if there were any problems with getting them out at the start of the season. If they somehow don't end up having them this year, it will be a bummer but it's not a huge deal worth freaking out about. |

It's unacceptable to get the schedule magnets out that late. I agree with Jimmy. Of course, you never know what problems they ran into with getting them produced, which I guess you can cut them some slack for if there were problems. But still...
I agree with Hack, hopefully Costello gets a real marketing plan in place soon, something other than producing youtube videos. UWM needs a true marketing director in the AD.

I suspect ice is right that there was a vendor issue, although it certainly didn't help that the schedule took so long to finalize.
And while it's fine to complain about marketing issues on the board, sometimes you should be more pro-active. I have pointed out several issues to the staff in the last year and they were very responsive.

I'm missing 01-02, 06-07 and 08-09. I think I'm going to buy the 06-07 one from eBay (it also has Kevin Messiah) so I'm just trying to find an extra 08-09 before tonight's game.
