So some of the members of the board such as BlackPantherUWM and SRT4driver know of my current Milwaukee Panther autograph collection but I have decided to begin a new project that is quite the challenge. I am going to attempt to obtain every former Milwaukee Panther (who is still alive and able to sign) autograph on a custom trading like card I have designed through a website run by Topps Cards. Yes I know many players have left not under the best of circumstances but good and bad, I'm trying to document and preserve the program in my own personal way.
The reason why I'm posting this is because I am in need of help in locating photos of most players, especially those who played prior to 2005. I have already talked to Kevin O'Connor about locating photos and he told me when they need to get some old photos, they use the UWM Library Archives which I was planning on checking out anyways. Just thought I would check the board if any members had any help or information they could offer. If anyone wants to see an example, I am more than willing to PM an image.

Wow. As someone who used to be in the business of selling sportscards and memorabilia...I wish you lots of luck. It'll be a fantastic collection even if you come close to your goal. Good luck!!

Thanks. It is quite the daunting task but if I can complete it, it will be pretty nice to display.
So I was looking at some of the older teams from the last 10-11 years and I came across one player from the 1999-2000 team (Bo's 1st season) that I can't find anything at all on.
Forward Jon Brown in his only season with the program played in one game for the Panthers, playing one minute in a win vs. Michigan Tech in December 1999. The thing is, I can't find any information on him, where he's from and why he was only with UWM for one season. Does anyone remember him?

Jon Brown 6-5 190 Westchester, IL (St. Joseph High School). Played for legendary coach Gene Pingatore (Isiah Thomas, Evan Turner, Hoop Dreams). Thanks. Thanks for the info! There are many more players who only played a few games before leaving or what not for many different reasons so finding photos of those players either in game or in uniform is going to difficult.

Thanks, it's been pretty enjoyable so far. I'm sure when I'm down to like 5 guys or less to find it may not be so enjoyable. I'm entertaining doing this for UWM Baseball as well but I really should try to get further along on this one before starting baseball.
