From HoopDirt.com "I’ve heard that there will be some staff changes at Wisconsin-Milwaukee. It sounds like Chad Boudreau will take over the top assistant spot, Ronnie Jones will move into an assistant coaching role from video coordinator, and Dejan Matic will move from academic mentor to video coordinator." hoopdirt.com/

Chris Hill was in attendance at the season-ending banquet and had nothing but plaudits for the program and the determination the players demonstrated down the stretch.
He was elated that Rick is reaching out to former players through the Varsity Club.
Perhaps we can further re-connect with him by bringing him back in the fold after a year at Tennessee.

When does JDBrew get his shot? He now has 3 years of coaching experience...no one has lived or died with the program as much as him in the last decade.

I've known Justin for 12 years and would fully support him as the staff's video coordinator. I know that he's worked in the field for at least the last five years and has served at camps under Rob, Bo and Pat Miller at UWW.

I think that ronnie jones is a good fit at assistant coach, he's been there done that. Dajean Matic on the other hand seems like a shaky hire. where did this guy come from.

Dajean Matic on the other hand seems like a shaky hire. where did this guy come from. Rob met Dan in Serbia while an assistant coach for Team USA in the World University Games. Dan has been a graduate assistant at Milwaukee since, and once Deonte Roberts got in academic trouble, has been assigned to keep on the students about their grades. The players I talk to say he's doing a great job at that. It's not shaky at all, especially when it's not an assistant's job. We'll be pleased with it. I'm also willing to give Ronnie a shot. He's been on staff for quite awhile now, he's waited his turn. So has Chip, but I daresay Chip is too good a coach (judging by his jobs before Milwaukee) to not get an assistants job sooner or later.

Dan's a good man and for those who don't know he played college ball in the US. I think Chip may ultimately be more interested in athletics administration than in coaching.

Think that the changes are good for the staff personally. I think that RonJ has payed his dues and deserves a shot.He was an assistant at a JUCO before coming back to UWM as a video coordinator. And Dan has done a great job while at UWM turning the team GPA around form 2.1 to 2.9 in one semester. Also like Jimmy said he was on the USA basketball staff with Rob and Bo in Serbia. As far as Chip goes I think his time will come soon. Maybe the next Edgewood coach. I would love to see him get that if it opens up here soon.

I didn't say he was on the staff, I said that's where Rob was when he met Dan.
And not to be nitpicky, but RJ was DOBO before switching jobs with Chip and becoming the VC a couple years ago.
