Only 16 guys? Is Jeter planning on open tryouts to fill out the roster? Also, I'm surprised that Mitchell Carter isn't on there. I thought he was guaranteed a 6th year. Panther? Ghost of Dylan? Explanation please. The second I saw your name I knew you'd bring up Mitch. I would assume there's no push to appeal because our front line is set without him. Have fun with Andrew Smith.

I thought there were rumors that Deonte Roberts was still in school and was going to walk on and use his last year of eligibility. Was there any merit to that rumor?
Also where is Ron Patten, I thought he was walking on the team as well.

No, Deonte won't be playing with the Panthers anymore. He has one year left until he gains his degree in psychology.
As for Ron, there's a strong possibility that he'll be enrolling in a junior college.
In regards to the roster, I love that there are 16 players and only 14 "functionals." This is an automatic "trim-down" already in July.

Easy there, big fella ... just havin' a little fun with you guys. Not sure what the Smith comment means, but I guess we're stuck with him, so we'll just have to make the best of it!

I don't know what it means, but I saw Ja'Rob on the street while driving near Bayshore today and he had his left hand/wrist in a cast.

Lonnie Boga as a projected starter? Um, okay

And the team usually went only 8 deep apparently. That's what we were saying all season, right? Jeter's not using enough players?
This is what happens when you write an article based on a stat sheet.

Tell Cleveland State that Tony Meier's a shooting guard.
And who's this Shaquille Bog? Possible nickname: The Swamp Monster.

Who does the Panthers turn to, other than Boga at point guard?

Who does the Panthers turn to, other than Boga at point guard? We don't even know how Rob will address Kaylon's situation yet. Let's wait and see how this all plays out.

I could see Evan and Paris taking turns at PG when Shaq is on the bench.
