One of the things I've most enjoyed about our approach against Butler this season is that the focus has not been on what Butler does, but on what we do.
No "Beat Butler" shirts. No jeers of Brad or Shelvin or Ronald. Ovations rather than disrespect.
Some of the programs in our league get so bent out of shape about playing the Bulldogs that they've psyched themselves out before the ball is thrown in the air.
For us, it's just one basketball team playing another; let the better team win.

I have been pretty pumped up all day. To bad nobody I work with is at all interested in the Panthers. They all have said stuff to me like "are you excited for tonight" becaue my cube is decorated in all the free Panther stuff!
Lets go!

Didn't that game also start out with something like a 17-0 lead? Or am I thinking of a different year? That start, along with Ryan Braun's 2-run homer in the bottom of the 8th to send the Brewers to the wild card, are the loudest I have ever heard an arena/stadium. Game 6 2001 ECF, I couldn't scream loud enough for my buddy sitting next to me to share any conversation. Ray Allen went nuts and Scott Williams put the best forearm shiver into Allen Iverson ever. I've been to all of the big UWM games since 2000, been to the Bucks playoff games as well. Nothing has been as loud as when the Bucks doubled up the Sixers in the first half, not even the 16-0 run to open the Butler game in 2003.

Game 7 of the semi-finals against the Hornets that year was absolutely deafening. Haven't heard a crowd that loud before or since.

Actually t he loudest roar I ever heard at the Cell was when we played Detroit in the final. One of their guys was on the line. It was so loud it sounded like a jet engine. It was so loud his knees were literally shaking.
