Tonight just seems so surreal! Marquette and Milwaukee both get HUGE wins! (And yes I know many here hate MU but I root for all the WI teams) The mupanther is having a great birthday! MU & Milwaukee!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Well I'm sure you already got your best gift with these wins tonight but Happy Birthday man! Mine is this Sunday on the 27th so how about I get to celebrate a conference championship! |

Wow, what an unbelievable start. If you would have told me CSU only commits 2 turnovers in the first half and were up by 9, I would have called you a crazy person. I was at Hooligans and we definitely were cheering our team louder than the marquette people (congrats to them for seemingly becoming the 11th big east team in).
Again what a start. Ryan Allen's defense turns into offense, Ant hill gets Pogue into foul trouble early and a HUGE open 3 pointer hit.
It feels like its been too long but I'm glad that feeling is here again, the feeling that Milwaukee is NOBODY'S UNDERDOG. Congrats to coach Jeter, coach Bid, coach Chip, and everyone else who willed this team to victory. What a great feeling.

 Rob needs to channel Herb Brooks on Saturday before YSU. When the USA trailed Finland going into the third period, just two days after beating the Soviets, Brooks to his team: "You lose this, you'll take it to your ####ing graves!" OK, maybe not. But this one on Saturday is just as big. Exactly what I was thinking. |

Hooray team, got done teaching in time to see most of the second half. Enough sick kids have come through the doors in the past month that it finally caught up with me, so i'll hopefully have more to say this weekend.
