I really like some of the TV matchups including the ones involving our Horizon League counterparts...

A school from the MAC, I'll take it. Next year the Bulls should be in Milwaukee.
I think Milwaukee is on the road again for the BracketBuster 2012.

"I'm sure UW-Mil is a good team, but didn't we play them recently? along with about 4 other UW-city teams? Whatever, go bulls and win the F out of this game."
"We won UW Green Bay this year on the road, who beat Milwaukee. We could run the UW Satellite school system. "
Do you need ANY more reasons for us to commit to Milwaukee and Milwaukee alone?

No.
Wow, that's a lot of braggadocio for a mid-level MAC school.

Sheesh, my thoughts exactly Dylan... that kind of smack coming from, Buffalo?! This is the same team that has never made the NCAA's, correct? The same one that plays in the MAC - conference RPI of 21? The same team that lost to Youngstown? OK then...
That said, I'm sure they're a decent team and it sounds like they play well at home. Their wikipedia page boasts of losses to UConn and BYU (a strange thing to bring up, don't you think?).
Milwaukee's Bracketbuster track record doesn't exactly instill a lot of faith, however this team has played well on the road at times. At this point we simply need W's, not matter who the opponent.

No. Wow, that's a lot of braggadocio for a school co-leading the MAC. Buffalo lost by single digits to BYU. Jimmer scored 34 to save them.

Fine.
But we're not talking about a single game or season here. Rather, it's about the amount of respect -- or lack thereof -- showed a program that's been in the Big Dance and made waves by the fans of a program that's never danced before.
Frankly, I'm not impressed with the co-leaders of a conference ranked No. 21 in the RPI.
Again, thanks for moderating copy on this board.

That's just not a very good reason to take a team lightly.

That's just not a very good reason to take a team lightly. I love the method you use for turning the most die-hard Panther fans against you. Mid-level is exactly what Buffalo is as a program... Let me guess, Ghostofdylan is being too negative for you now?

What is the reason the name Milwaukee Panthers should strike fear or even garner respect in Buffalo? It's been 5 years since the team did anything worth noticing nationally. If the want to bang on our team ahead of the BracketBuster, so what? It's as easy as not reading their board since they don't have anything to do with game planning and in-game coaching.

That's just not a very good reason to take a team lightly. If Jeter takes the team lightly, we'll lose. I could care less what they've done in the past; We're playing the team in the here and now. They've beaten gb and WMU, we haven't (yet). We beat YSU and BGSU, they haven't (yet). 'Who have they beaten?' and similar phrases are what TCU heard going into the Rose Bowl. More importantly, they're what our Panthers heard going into the 2005 and 2006 tourneys. Betcha they're glad they were overlooked. I don't believe Rob Jeter will look past the Bulls, and I'm confident we can win. But don't forget DePaul.

At this juncture I don't believe the team has the luxury of taking anyone for granted including YSU. Yeah Buffalo may be talking more sh*t than they should, but we'll see who has the last laugh. I understand why they are because this is a great season for them (anything top 200 RPI probably thrills their fan base).
I've been impressed by the team as of late. They beat WSU even though they didn't shoot the lights out, they played defense. I understand Land didn't play, but that is a good win. I won't forget about Depaul, but I doubt we will have another 20 turnover embarrassment like that again. I like our chances.
