I am tired of just being a .500 ball club with minimal fan support. I have an idea this team could use a new coach and what better than the guy who holds these records at UCLA:Highest career scoring average: 26.4 Most career field goals: 943 (tied with Don MacLean) Most points in a season: 870 (1967)

Yes the one and only Kareem Abdul-Jabbar..Standing room only tickets, top recruits: think about it...Media Galore...it is a stoybook in the making....Can't be any worse than what we have..

A) Kareem is working with the Lakers and making a ton of money with the franchise he loves. Certainly more than he'd make here.

B) As has been said literally billions of times, the athletic department is in debt and buying out Jeter's contract would cost millions of dollars. It won't happen.

C) You think we'd be the first team to offer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar a coaching position? And yet, there he is, not coaching college basketball.

D) UWM hasn't been a .500 team in three years.

E) Stop smoking the sticky. It's not good for you.

I'm not going to accuse you of doing drugs, but I will refute your point:

On November 21st, 2007, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was honored by the Milwaukee Bucks at the game against the Los Angeles Lakers, for whom Kareem was working at the time (and still).

The Milwaukee fan base is so in love with Kareem and the Lakers that a whopping 17,526 people showed up to watch the game, over 1,000 less than the pro basketball capacity of 18,717.

By the way, that was professional basketball against the LAKERS, who feature one of the best 2-3 players in the world in KOBE BRYANT.

So don't come in here with that garbage. You want Jeter to be replaced, fine, a lot of people here do. But you're being awfully lazy in trying to find a replacement, and you're making assumptions that just aren't the case, such as we'll be standing room only and we'll get a bajillion top recruits.

Jason Averkamp, who is now coaching D-II, would be a better replacement than Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
