An interesting take from Montana's coach to get fans to the game. Also a thumbs up to Oregon St who scheduled a home and home with a mid-major (Even though Oregon St. is a low major trapped in a high major's body)

Its a tough sell right now though, to get people excited about this team after this start.

FWIW I'm watching simeon high school basketball on ESPN, and all I can say is thank god they aren't on the schedule this year.

Congrats to the Griz on the win. Not sure how much of the attendance bump was on Tinkle's rally cry and how much was on a Pac-10 team coming to town, but it wouldn't hurt Jeter to fire up the troops with the conference schedule coming up. That is, those troops that haven't mentally fired him already.
