Panther Pack Members Can Win Marquette Tickets During November Giveaways to UWM students will take place at early home games
Nov. 7, 2007
MILWAUKEE - University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee students who are members of the Panther Pack will have the chance to win tickets to the Panthers' Nov. 30 game at Marquette during all five November home games.
Twenty tickets will be given away during each contest, with a total of 100 tickets given away over the course of the early home schedule. UWM November home games include Upper Iowa (Nov. 9), Northern Iowa (Nov. 18), South Dakota State (Nov. 20), Drake (Nov. 24) and Sam Houston State (Nov. 27).
The Panther Pack is UWM's new student rewards group, with members receiving a free t-shirt at sign up before earning various rewards and prizes by attending men's and women's basketball games. Students can still sign up for the Panther Pack at any men's or women's home basketball game.
All Panther Pack members in attendance at each November home game will be eligible to win a ticket to the Marquette game simply by checking in with their Panther Pack card upon arrival at the U.S. Cellular Arena. Winning Panther Pack numbers will be announced during the second half.
As always, all UWM students are admitted free to men's basketball games at the U.S. Cellular Arena. Free transportation is also available from Sandburg Hall starting 90 minutes prior to tipoff.
The Panthers start the regular season Friday night against Upper Iowa. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.

Is anything posted up in the dorms regarding the game or this Panther Pack?

I hope so.
This is a great idea! Rather than give our tickets to some donors, it's better to put a pack of our students together to make some noise!

The 100 tickets that are being given away to the students were boughten by the athletic department. They are really good seats in the first couple rows of the upper level. These are not part of the "alloted tickets" given to UWM by Marquette.

I literally just found out. Granted I was at a funeral, but this is a bit late for the first game. Looks like I have a good chance, lol.

www.sportingnews.com/yourturn/viewtopic.php?t=302004We're not the only one with problems filling students. Jason Clark told me he thought the number was around 800 for students at the last game. I dunno about that, but I'd like to get more than 800 in the future. It might be possible with this crowd.
