mcleod center (uni) - $26 million
stroh center (bowling green) - $36 million, students have been paying $60 per semester
i wouldn't be surprised if our arena reached the $50 million mark at the high end, given our location, climate, and our desires. especially when future inflation is considered.

That's a lot of money. We're going to need some significant private donations.

I've heard numbers between $25 million and $79 million. The $79 million facility, 5 more than the Kohl Center. At 6-7k seats, that facility would be significantly better than the Kohl Center (if done right)
I also highly doubt we'd build that; we'd need roughly 40 million raised.
To get the student number squared away, it's $25 per student per semester for 25 years; at 30,000 students, that comes out to 750k a semester.
I'm going to have an arena update in the next couple days, once I get the information I need.

Do graduate students pay the student fee as well, or just the undergrads?

i haven't seen the measure that SA passed, but i'm not aware of any aspects of "segregated fees" which apply only to undergraduate students. The only way that i am aware of that a student can avoid paying seg fees, which includes monies which support athletics, is to take off-campus classes exclusively.
