I'm going to everything in my power to sell this game out! Word of mouth, tell friends, family and co-workers.

im sure its been mentioned but another email sent today and i saw very energetic people telling people about the vouchers...the guy was pretty much standing on a table yelling at students to get tickets and that they will get free black t-shirts
but i know its been mentioned over and over again...this is the worst weekend (when schools in session) to have this game, even finals weekend would be more in demand i think

Not a "huge" deal but I sure hope the students interested in going to the Western Michigan game tomorrow don't think the game is on Wednesday (I am a graduate student and got an email about the WMU and MU game vouchers around 5pm today). Portion of email below:
"The home game against Marquette at the U.S. Cellular Arena will begin at 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 27. Students will also need vouchers for the home game at the Klotsche Center at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, against Western Michigan".
Ouch. J/k. Honestly I don't think it will matter at all for the game tomorrow. They are very likely going to have to turn people away at the door. There just isn't enough room (unless people really do HATE East Side parking that bad)... I do hope the students can show up big for the game against Marquette, even with Thanksgiving weekend and all (heck I'll bet at least 50% of our students are from the Milwaukee suburbs!).

I don't understand why UWM didn't put out single game tickets out to the public for the WMU game. They thought it would sell-out, great then it would. I'm sorry, some changes need to be done.

The voucher idea was ill-fated from the start.
How about just handing out tickets ... or better yet, leave the door open and entice students with pizza, T-shirts and whatever other swag it takes to get them in the building?
Tell me that these students weren't in a festive mood with five days off through the weekend.

You don't know how hard I laughed when the didn't the promo asking fans to follow the Milwaukee Panthers on Twitter and Facebook last night for the latest updates in Panther athletics.
Latest my ass. Five posts on each since September, and a Facebook page filled with spammers posting on it.

I guess ticketmaster has giving up on the students. It's selling tickets for the MU-UWM game in the student section.

Anyone else get their Christmas card from the Panthers ticket office?
Inside was a voucher for 4 free tickets to one of the next 3 UWM home games.

Did get the vouchers which is great. What is really great though is the four tickets.dogs, sodas t shirts promotion. Fantastic deal. Wish somehow this could be marketed further to the community. Despite all the issues with progress of the team etc our games at the Cell albeit thinly attended are a really nice way to spend an evening. One of the things enjoy most at the games is the families that attend particularly the little kids who have a great time. In our economic times this is a relatively affordable really nice night out for families. Little kids love the Panther inflatables, video board and chance to run around the arena without safety or crowd concerns. Comes off as more personal than the high flash Bucks or MU games and to kids the players might just as well be NBA heroes as they are seen as heroes regardless of the conference or success of the team. That is the really neat thing about our game experiences. Would be really cool to have some sort of autograph thing for the kids with the players and some other things where they interact with the kids a bit.
