Is there anything the Univerisity will be doing for a "gold Out" at the tourny games, advertisement? I think it would be sweet to have the entire crowd with the student section in Gold! I know the Cellular can't do anything promotional for the game because it is suppose to be a neutral court, but the AD could do something to help out. On a side note will we still get our intro music for the game? I know they didn't do it last year.

With it being the conference tournament, I would think the lights would be up and starters will be introduced alternately like they did in the old days. No intro music.

Even moreso, because it is supposed to be a neutral court, I'm sure there will be no intro music.
Like dylanrocks said, alternated intros.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but since we are the number one seed, we are considered the home team, and with that, would it not be a neutral court? Since we are the home team and it happens to be our own court, why wouldn't we be allowed to play our theme music? I can see the quarterfinals games being played with no music, but I would think for us it would be a home game as usual.

I agree with ron. We as UWM earned the right to host these games and have true home games. If UWM was a predetermined site before the season i think it would be considered a neutral site. Since we earned the right to play here in our home town on our home court i cant see how this could at all be considered a neutral court. we earned the right, we deserved to introduce our people just as if it was any other home game. if they do our games any other way i will be pissed.

i have to say i agree in theory with Ron & Bruce's statements, but that is the way that the tournament is set-up, it sucks but that is just how it is going to go. So Bruce you know that means you will get even more frustration to take out on the other team we are playing, i mean no music nad no beer pretty sure there are gonna be some hella-pissed people in the student section who will be willing to join with you

in light of alternate introductions. i suggest we do he allegator clap for the opposing team, fallowed by a fast clap with some hoping up and down.
yes i know its like at madison but its a good way to unite the crowd right before the game.
dont worry about the court boys. it wont be neutral. it will be hostile. HOSTILE!

everyone on the board should make it their personall duty to inform their friends and others around them so we can pull this one off. and unite against those biotches. who ever they may be.

the gator clap is always cool. however, it only works if it's highly coordinated, ie. madison's intro... it's well orchestrated and the students know what they're supposed to be doing (if i remember right the band and band leader set the tone of when to start clapping). i'd love to see our student section implement this plan for the tourney, but it will take spreading people in the know around to get it going. and you'll have to talk early so people understand what to do. once a good portion gets going the rest will follow.

In regards to the GOLD OUT and in case everybody didn't get the e-mail from Harker...
The school will be handing out gold uwm "back to back HL champs" shirts in the student section for Saturdays game on a first come basis. This should help us unify the section into a sea of gold! I even suggest making it a goal to actually get some of these student fools to actually wear them, not just stick them in their pocket becaus their Abercrombie shirt looks way cooler! Hell, I'll even give mine up if it means one more person is in gold...I only have like 15 gold shirts in my closet already!
