Website on K-Ville and the North Carolina Game. Basketball Mecca, the Holyland. www.duke.edu/~dcw4/kville.html48 Hours before the game!! Vissions of the UWM police arriving and breaking this up... Fundraising Event. I would assume our university would absolutely freak out over this! Oshkosh North/West high school football game they use to do something similar. Might work for the BU or UIC game across the street from the Cellular Arena or as a Midnight Madness festivity. But again, I strongly doubt the University would allow it. Victory! I dont think we need we this! Final thought: Our school needs to stop freaking out over little "problems" at games. Let the students be students. Granted there is a fine line not to cross, but I have never seen anything close to that yet! It's college basketball and our school needs to get a reality check. Students - Get creative! Take these ideas and improve upon them. Get organized. A wild student section is what the NCAA Basketball is all about! At least 1,000 students at the PVAM game...get J. Martin Klotsche's Krazies ready for Air Force! Feel free to use the student section to organize. I am sure the alumni and other fans will be more than willing to contribute ideas. -UWMfreak

I agree with you 100% Freak. I would love to see anything like that here at UWM and I think that in time it will happen, but for now all we really need is to get our name out there and how much fun it is to go to our sporting events here at school, whether it is a soccer game at Engleman or a b-ball game at the Cell we just need the rest of the peopel in Mil-town to know we are here and i think that we are starting to get to that point.

It should be interesting to see what they have to say for UIC. The game will be on ESPN2 on Dec. 12. Maybe we could take some pointers that are opponent specific.
