The guy maverick referenced isn't the NJIT coach anymore. What? After the awesome job he did there?!

Well, he is available then. How maverick came up with this list is probably something similar to this:
Board Member 1: I've never heard of half of these guys and the ones I do know are way past their prime.
Charlie Donovan: Most of these guys never had a prime.
Board Member 2: This guy here is dead!
Rachel Phelps: Cross him off then.

I figured he made his list after huffing paint thinner and eating paste.

How about Michael Redd? I hear he won't be doing anything the rest of the season.

helping mentor, among others, their young centers, Michael Olowokandi and Jerome James. ok...i don't know how everyone missed this, but it was easily the best part of the whole post...because when i think successful NBA players, i think jerome james and michael olowakandi...

It's understandable why maverick would post that .... he's been dipping into Kareem's weed stash.

Regarding the choice of Jim Catalano as a new coch.....NJIT started losing as soon as he left the school. He was practically iconic while he was there and has been in demand ever since. NJIT has begged for him to return since they seem to suck now.

... I don't think too many people care, for those of you who do want to see Jeter out, Koonce is going to give him a chance just like all of our current coaches. I can't see any coaching changes made for the 2009-2010 athletics campaign.

I can't see any coaching change in men's basketball until at least the expiration of Rob Jeter's current contract in 2012-13.
