I tell you what Maverick, you and your girlfriend SERIOUSLY can go find another team to cheer for. I try to be optimistic about things, and there are times my ideas clash with others on the board, but I tell you what, I still have respect for them, because I know we care for a common cause - our team.
You and your female counterpart mean nothing. In fact, if I was a moderator I would ban you from this board, because you bring NOTHING to the table.

It is a discussion board - I am not going to ban people for having a different opinion, no matter how strongly I may disagree.
maverick, you are more than welcome to continue posting here. However, don't expect much in the way of agreement from others.....

I can't believe the post that started this thread. A few weeks ago, I posted that if we don't see progress this year, maybe it's time for RJ to go. Since then we've seen plenty of progress.
A sweep on the road in Chicago, wins over Bradley and Valpo and a near miss over UW-GB on a night when for much of the game our shooters couldn't have been colder if they were playing outside.
And if you don't think a ref who (among other things) watches a GB guy carry the ball over the line and then hands it back to him doesn't make a difference, then you have no idea about what was going on out there. As one long time season ticket holder told me "He's been doing this to us for 10 years. He just hates us for some reason."
Some of the wins weren't pretty but they were games we probably would have lost last year (and defintely would have lost the year before last). That's progress, that's going in the right direction.
Are we there yet? Hell no, but we are heading there and that's all anyone can really ask.

While you're at it, here are some names to add to your list: Jimmy Patsos Jay Bilas Bill Walton Rod Marinelli Rod Marinelli is officially off the board. Makes sense with the theme of this thread that we would go after Rod (0-16). but unfortionately the genius that is the Chicago Bears took him for their defensive coordinator.  |

I really hope maverick is NOT completely serious. That was one of the dumbest things I've seen/read in a while. I do love the other possible candidates though, but I don't think Crean would be that good of a fit.
