Not a Horizon League team, but a UWM connection with Ron Hunter.
I stumbled upon a replay of the IUPUI vs. Pepperdine game fron the Rainbow Classic on CSTV (College Sports Television) today about noon. The game was played on 12/30/2003, and IUPUI won 76-72.
First.... Does anybody have this channel besides us DirecTV subscribers?
Second.... Wasn't there an announcement last year that had some kind of agreement between CSTV and the Horizon League? I could have sworn that they were going to carry a bunch of league games, but I don't see any on the schedule.
Third.... I am very happy with the amount of Horizon League games being carried by Fox Sports Net on DirecTV. They seem to have had a change in policy this year that allows games on other regional channels to be shown without blackouts, and without subscribing to the college basketball package. I live in Madison and I've been able to watch games on Fox Sports Net North, Fox Sports Net North #2, Fox Sports Net Detroit, Fox Sports Net Chicago & Fox Sports Net Ohio. I guess this makes sense, the college basketball package only includes games from certain conferences (of which the Horizon isn't one).
Oh well, just rambling now.
Go Panthers!

Welcome to the board pantherphil! CSTV sounds like some thing I need to have. I have basic cable and we definitely dont have that. Fox Sports has some pretty good coverage of HL games. I am kinda shocked they are not covering as of yet the return game against UWGB! Speaking of TV, UWM should have the national TV game on ESPN for bracketbuster...and we have a great chance at having another ESPN game in the tourny finals. I probably just jinxed us! Later, UWMfreak
