That game was ugly. 17 turnovers, 33% shooting per centage, yuck!
At least we won, but that's all about you can say for it. I'm thinking the team was tired after playing 3 games in 5 days. Thank the schedule makers we played CSU, anyone else would have mopped the floor with us.

That was the single worst game I have ever seen go into overtime. I was praying it wouldn't go double OT because it was so bad. How many ofensive sets did we have that were worse than putrid?
I'm marking this one down to the fact it was the third game in five days after heartbreaking defeats in the first two. It's a credit to the team and coaches that they survived and got the win, but it sure wasn't pretty.

I agree, this game was one of the worst that I have been to. A win is a win I guess. Although, I am still confused why Jeter didn't take a timeout on the last position in regulation? Why not call a timeout and set up a play for the last shot. On a positive note, Gentry continues to improve and that is encouraging.

I'm guessing bc of avos recent late game heroics....a lot of coaches don't call TOs to set up a play bc it also allows the defense to set up....maybe they already had a play drawn up?

That is true, but it didnt look like they ran any play, and if they did the execution sucked, C State got a beter look then we did.

this was hands down the ugliest way you can win a game. i didn't expect great things given this was their 3rd game in 5 days but christ almighty did they do as little as possible to win. thankfully they can lick their wounds and play w/ more energy on Saturday. why is this the 2nd year in a row we get our Clev. St. home game at the end of a grueling run? last year's game was the day after New Year's and the first game back from the Wyoming/Montana stretch and we barely won that too.

Will someone Please tell Avery that he is NOT the team. He plays nothing but streetball and is not a team player. All his heroics are getting real sickening. He wasn't too happy with Al when Al didnt get him the ball instead taking it to the hoop himself. He is a selfish player. They play much better when they play team ball.

Panthertrax most of the time when Avo takes over we win, so right now that argument is moot LOL! No harm no foul.
