Butler 5-1 17-2 WSU 6-2 13-8 Loyola 4-3 13-7 Milwaukee 4-4 7-14 UIC 4-4 9-12 YSU 4-5 9-12 UWGB 3-4 11-9 Detroit 3-4 6-12 CSU 1-7 7-14
A Panthers win tomorrow, coupled w/Butler beating Loyola, would give us SOLE POSESSION of 3rd place! Who would have thought that we'd be in 3rd place after the halfway point of the league schedule after losing all 5 starters?
GO PANTHERS! BEAT DETROIT!!!

Those who have stuck it out are having fun, we know you can't win everything, but:
The home game v. YSU was fun - we could have easily won Our D had Butler messed up! we were right there w/them We played Loyola very tough @ Loyola, I can't wait for the home, here We held serve w/WSU and Det
This has always been a league where, at the end of the season, certain teams have grown, and become different, this is going to be a great HORIZON TOURN.
But, ofcourse, Butler rules until someone can knock them down

We could legitamately make it a 5 game winnng streak if we can get one in Detroit. The problem is that the rest of the schedule is going to be really tough.

Consider the rest of the season (especially road games) a training ground for the tourney. Just watching tonight, this team is pretty darn good on the road. Detroit had a pretty obscene shooting percentage, hitting anything they threw up and our guy hung in there. I remember seeing they were over 50% from the field at the half. They played well, especially down the stretch. We've lost before over the past few years in Detroit. We know how tough it is to play there.
