You never know who will be good enough to get a televised game, and everyone is striving to win.

You're right, but my point remains the same...crappy opponents. The whole Bracketbuster thing has really went down the road of selling out. It used to be like 22 teams and those teams all benefited from some national publicity on that one Sat. Now there's like 100+ teams and it's not as big of a deal.

That's becuase with only 22 teams, ESPN might wind up with a bunch of stiffs on TV and several good teams not participating. Butler might not even be in the Bracketbuster this year under the original format. Who knew they'd be this good?

In the case of N. Arizona and W. Kentucky, they can fulfill the other half of the contract whenever they want. It doesn't have to be the next year. That's correct, occasionally scheduling conflicts make it difficult for the return game to take place the following year. Butler hosted Valpo in the Bracketbuster two years ago and just went up for the return game this season. Todd

exactly how do you figure Drake given their RPI is unbelievably higher than ours?

Not everything hinges on RPI. I know most people on this board put far too much emphasis on RPI, but it isn't the only thing that gets considered with selections and match ups.

Except for the SIU/Butler game....that one I will watch.

Northern Ill: 4-15 Eastern Illinois: 6-16 Buffalo: 9-11 CS Fullerton: 16-4 CS Northridge: 10-10 Cent. Michigan: 8-11 Eastern Kentucky: 11-9 the NIU matchup is a great slap in the face to the poor man for his pussy scheduling and continuing trend of underachieving.
surprised LU would be dissed as bad as they were.
