In case you did not know or forgot. It never gets old. Former Rutgers players sue for naked wind sprintsBy The Associated Press NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. Two former Rutgers basketball players and a team manager who said they were forced to do naked wind sprints can sue their former coaches, an appellate court has ruled. The decision, issued Tuesday, overturned a lower court ruling that dismissed the suit brought by former players Earl Johnson Jr. and Josh Sankes, and former manager Juan Carlos. The nude drill followed a free-throw shooting contest during a 1997 basketball practice. The three agreed to shed a piece of clothing for every missed shot, but they said they expected it would stop at undershorts. In 1999, the trio sued then-coach Kevin Bannon, then-assistant coach Tod Kowalczyk, the athletic director and the school, charging civil rights violations. The appellate panel ruled the three could sue Bannon and Kowalczyk, and dismissed the other charges. Bannon, who has said participation in the game was voluntary, was not disciplined by Rutgers over the incident. "Ultimately, this will all come out for what it is, which is not much," said his agent, Keith Glass. Rutgers University noted in a statement that there has been no finding of liability against any of the defendants and that the two remaining claims against Bannon and Kowalczyk have been sent back to a lower court for further proceedings. tspweb02.tsp.utexas.edu/webarchive/07-05-01/2001070508_s01_Former.html

i'm working on a way to shorten this: "the kowalczyk motto: if you don't succeed at first, get the hell out of my program" How about "kowalczyk motto: we don't finish what we start."

That is a good one, but I'd be willing to bet that Haidet would kindly ask you to dispose of it. Simply b/c it's got pmck's name in it.

That is a good one, but I'd be willing to bet that Haidet would kindly ask you to dispose of it. Simply b/c it's got pmck's name in it. negative, after having multiple signs confiscated last year (and threatened to be sued for one of them) i can tell you from experience that signs are only confiscated if the opposing school complains. i was told after the GB game last year that the first action the poor man took when he stepped onto our court was looking around in the crowd for any negative signs. i guess mine kinda stood out. ;D

I guess what I meant was that pmck would make Haidet do something about the sign. I know that has happened in previous years.

So simply wait until the game starts, to unveil it. Then if it distracts pmck, all the better.

Four days until the poor man lets the excuses fly after another loss. Hide your hair gel.

Four days until the poor man lets the excuses fly after another loss. Hide your hair gel. I cannot wait for this game! By the way, I'll try not to slip on the ice, I mean the poor man's hair gel as I'm walking into the U.S. Cellular Arena.

If by some chance GB falls to visiting UIC Wednesday, pmck's career record will sink to 69-69 over four-plus seasons. FYI, BP was 84-38 in four seasons at Milwaukee and Bo was 30-27 in two years.

There was a lot of people out talking to students, telling them about the game and handing out flyers. The street team is in!
Also, there is advertising EVERYWHERE on campus for this game. They're doing a helluva job.

I was going to ask why TK feels the need to travel with a heavily armed and badged, over weight deputy and place him behind the GB bench. On second thought, forget it.
