lol, going fishing tomorrow , the sun sets before 6:00 mountain time so I'm all good. BTW, I got some Wisconsin fans who are down here so we have a cheering section going in the bar. The local bar tenders are in shock that the game is a live brodcast.

I went threw the Horizon league site. I've been to all those places including the giggling Marlin. Cabo's a pretty fun town.

Hey Kingsbury -- that was me doing the color. How'd it sound? I give myself about a C +, but it was the first time I'd done it. It was a lot of fun, but I probably had better keep my day job.

I've always liked Bill Johnson's call of the game but watching him do it from the next chair you really appreciate how much skill it takes. The Panthers are lucky to have him.

Tough loss but boy the team worked hard, and in the second half they really played the way Rob wants them to play on offense -- attacking the rim, touching the post. Our free throw shooting let us down, however.

I've been saying it all year and I'll say it again. We're getting better. There are still good things ahead for this team.

Bingo. Anyone get a good look at what I thought was his charge on Anderson with about 2 minutes left? That was a HUGE call.

I give Butler credit. Everyone will be gunning for them this year. Great effort and intensity by the Panthers. If UWM plays defense like that there are more wins in this team.

It was nice having vacation this past week because I got to come down from the Madison area to see two good games with Wyoming and Butler. Even brought along my brother from Milwaukee (his first Panther game ever) and he was interested. I thought that there was a really nice crowd for the Butler game and was surprised by the number of students that showed up (although they need to get fired up a little instead of just sitting there.

I was really impressed by both defenses and am proud how the Panthers hung in there. And they are starting to make some plays, you can see they're still not completely in sync, but they are getting there. Still need to figure out a way to get the ball into the low post on a more consistent basis.

Nicely done Fran!! When Bill said Fran, your name popped up in my head and I remembered that you did some radio with Dodds, so I was trying to connect the dots. The radio feed didn't kick in until about the 15:00 minute mark , so I don't think the people watching the video feed ever heard Bill introduce you.

I think a C+/B- would be fair. I actually enjoyed having another person on the call. IMO, You could tell you had insight on the team, but since you never worked with Bill you were unsure how to play off each other. Was this only a one time thing? While you're at it, maybe see if you can get Andrea (Ticket Office) an Erin Andrews sideline reporter job for Panther games!!
