What I think I said or at least tried to imply was that Avery's natural game doesn't jump out at anyone as being a scorer or shoot first player. He's a defensive minded point guard playing a scoring small forward. By playing another role and succeeding, his game is growing.

Granted, I don't have any access to watching this game and I'm stuck with radio accounts and stat boxes, but unless Jeter's calling for him to do something else, I don't see a problem with it.

I have no problem at all with how Avery played that game. Since nobody else on this team could shoot, who the hell else was going to score? The supposed leader of this team - Allan Hanson - is something like a combined 0-6 the last two games. Without Avery taking and making those shots, they would have been lucky to break 40 points on Saturday.

gotcha, i may have mis-read ur post a bit as well.......and im not saying that anyone player is making himself to be an outcast or anything like that i guess from a fan perspective i just saw a few players jawing at each other and not in what looked like a nice trying to fire up the other guy way again it may have been nothing and the way it sounds is that it was just one of those things that happens in the heat of the moment which is just how things go, nothing wrong with that.

i still laugh anytime i hear about judges god that place is a dive bar if i have ever been to one....i love having my shoe stick to the floor like there is glue on it right when i walk in thats the best thing ever!!!!

but if it works for somebody else have fun i guess.......
