UWM head coach Rob Jeter on having such a young team:
"I lost nine scholarship players coming off a championship run. I've got two guys returning from that run last season. The other players are brand-new to this program. So as far as growing up in that culture, growing up in that environment, they have not."
On the newcomers to the team:
"We need to get these other guys to understand. We make no excuses - we have to get better."
I think he nailed it right on the head.
