Starting Nov. 22, UWM begins a five-game stretch with South Dakota State (home), Tennessee Tech (home), Central Michigan (away), Oakland (away) and Missouri State (away).
This series of games should tell us a lot about how good, mediocre or bad we are. The SDSU and Tennessee Tech games should be lock wins. Both teams, especially SDSU, are horrible this year. I know Tennessee Tech beat UWM last year, but that was on the Tenn. Tech home floor, which they are great on. Just by looking at scores, stats, rosters, it also appears as if we have an edge on Central Michigan. It's a winable game for UWM. If they want to show they're improving, as most of us think they are...they need to win that one. Oakland is MUCH better from last year, but this is a toss-up-type game that UWM can win. Show us something, guys! The Missouri State game....well, I'm not holding my breath. I think the best-case scenario is UWM going 4-1 in this stretch. Worst-case should be 2-3, which would be extremely disappointing.

SDSU and Central Michigan should be Ws, but don't count out TTU and Oakland... those 2 teams are good this year. I'm guessing 3-2 if things go our way, 2-3 if they don't.

I see no reason why we shouldn't be central michigan...didn't they lose to YSU by like 20 for goodness sakes. Nothing against YSU but there is no reason we can't put a pounding on cent. mich. as well

Oakland is playing at a very high level this year. Since I'm not a coach, the wins and losses aren't that important to me right now. I just want to see progress before the Horizon season. I know the coaches don't feel that way -- they want to win every game. So it's a good thing I'm just a fan.

Was that a travel or a Horizon League pivot?
