I thought it was hilarious when the guy from Parkside lost his contact lens and a portion of the student section started a,
"Get some LASIK!" clap, clap, clap-clap-clap
"Get some LASIK!" clap, clap, clap-clap-clap
Whoever thought that one up...nice work! Most everyone around me was laughing.

one part that pissed me off was when we were doing the "Left, Right" chant for one of the players that fouled out, the dumbass cheerleaders started yelling something which completely killed what we were trying to do. what's worse is their cheer lasted roughly 10 seconds and we couldn't get the chant moving again. i'd have to say a bright spot crowd wise was the student turnout for an exh. game. much more than i thought.

Being new to this, and not being on campus for nearly 10 years, I heard that Bruce Pearl was really great at getting the student body excited about games, and making sure they show up. How is Jeter's relationship with the students?

I am a UWM fan...I don't see how other UWM fans saw it fit to berate the UW-Parkside team. They are a D II team that traveled to a D I (NCAA tournament program) arena and flat out won. They deserve more respect than that. If there is anyone on floor you should have been harping on, its the UWM players for losing at home to a D II team.

the lasik chant came out of the band.
and yeah i agree the cheerleaders are kinda lame. as someone posted in a different thread, make them sit down while the game is on.
