I am getting absolutely sick and tired of watching Paige Paulsen throw the ball out of the post. He's gotta at least get a shot off.

UWM just can't dent the arc. This is going to be a very tough game.

This team, and this game really highlighted this thought, completely lacks a scoring threat. They need someone to emerge and offer that. If they had to draw up a last second shot, I honestly would have no idea where to look.

Honestly the biggest problem is poor shot selection at this point. We are taking shots 10 seconds into the shot clock that we can get anytime in those 30 seconds. Avery seems to be the only guy who wants to get to the rack on a consistent basis. And with zero and i repeat zero low post presence we need to have our guards create, get in the lane and dish or be able to hit that jumper in the lane. Because we do not have the shooters to be shooting outside of 15 feet on a consistent basis. Paulsen so far has scored on the perimiter on jump shots. In the last few games I have not seen any signs of improvement from our bigs. To be honest Ricky Franklin has the best post moves on the team right now. That is not a knock on our big kids but Ricky seems to have a solid grasp on pump fakes and keeping people off balance. I am guessing Sam Mauldin was a pretty solid player at one point but is struggling to come back from a knee injury...Trust me Ive had two knee surgeries I know what it was like in high school to be able to get ahead in conditioning and wanting to even pivot on your bad knee in fear that it will give out again. Right now Mauldin lacks footwork but I think that will get better, Skinner just kinda bowls people and gets them on their heels and Paulsen seems to not be physical enough down low. Hopefully something can change..because it is eveident that we are way to small right now...and for the record Michael Bendall shouldnt see many meaningful minutes. He looks like a strong kid but probably was used to shooting over people his whole life and wasnt ever challenged in high school and now he tries the same stuff and it gets sent back the other way...The problem I dont think is our guards so much as we need to do something to get points in the paint
