I was able to watch most of the scrimmage the Mens team put on today. It was pretty much as close to it getsto a real game with three refs and the players going through their whole warm up before the game. The team looks pretty good. I was impressed with hanson and avery and ricky on offense. All looked good running the offense. Swigget sat with the starters but did not play as to why i am not sure. Skinner looked good but sometimes didnt seem to really crash the boards as well as i thought he could of done. Mauldin played limited and it looked as if he is still feeling alittle affects of his knee. If thorton is lefted open he will hit the shot, and didnt see duetchman get into the game at all but i saw him shoot around before and the kid doesnt miss, i think if he can shoot like he does in practice there is no way he doesnt see the court inside and outside kid can just shoot. Torre looked good but you can tell he still is feeling the effects of his wrist injury as his shot was off most of the time, but his athletic ability has me drooling. Averkamp looks like a solid body that could maybe see some minutes here and there if any bigs go into foul trouble. Roman Gentry looked lost, just didnt really seem to click at all, had a few shots but none seem to fall for him. Myles Mckay impressed me a bit, he seems to have gotten alot better and saw alot of time with the scout team, but challeneged them very well, knows the offense very well and i can see him being a huge contributer in practices and maybe minutes in early games...
