However, this is branching into 2 different arguments. In terms of points scored, Novak was better. However, DJ was the field general and also was a scoring threat inside the 3 point line.
My point was that seniors/upperclassmen aren't always the reason a team does well. Marquette's 3 freshmen were very instrumental in getting them to the NCAA tourney last season.

I guess I just don't see it in James.I really don't see him destroying Big East guards. Not like Wade did, which is how he's been built up.
Mathews and McNeal look ok,but its just not a team I can ever see being more than the middle tier in their conference.

We'll have to see how he does this season. If he's as good as advertised he should be a first team all american.

I will have to check but how high is the rim in high school? 10' In college? 10' In the NBA? 10'
LeBron James is a perfect example of this, he was a good high school player and right before the first game they said he wouldn't be able to do what he did in high school, but he has and then some. This team is young but there is a reason they were recruited for division I basketball. If the team can play together is a different thing but the players we have can play with anyone. (i.e. George Mason) Who did they beat? Oh yeah just:
Michigan State, North Carolina, Wichita State, and Connecticut
We own the Horizon League and have the Horizon League coach of the year and if we get Flowers to complement Torre watch out in 07-08
but we still have Ricky Franklin, Big shot Al, and someone everyone should be talking about Paige Paulsen. I don't think we will finish 7th thats a joke---------and a really bad one at that.
