Apparently there will be 140 games to watch, according to the website...I can't wait. I can watch other games, too, and we can scout!

I know that many of us don't care about women's BB as much as we do the men's, but it would help local recruiting to have nice crowds at the women's games.

I'll be there. Women's basketball needs our support, especially since they can slap around the HL this year!

The Michigan game won't be televised anywhere. Correct?
Even if I wanted to drive across the border into Michigan, they won't even have it on a local channel?

I have a 10 week old daughter. But when she is old enough I'll be taking her to see the team she will eventually be playing for. Recruiting class of 2024, baby!! ;D

I'd be surprised if there was no local TV or regional ESPN/Full Court coverage of this game. Maybe we could find out from one of the Michigan boards. Anybody signed up on one of them?

You could always watch it on the Horizon League website.

It is confirmed that the Michigan game will not be televised anywhere. ESPN plus is not going to pick it up... as a matter of fact the organizers of the John Thompson Tourney are responsible for getting TV and make the decision of what games to televise and none of them are going to be televised.....its unfortunate they own the rights to the tv and can sell it when they want and wont sell it to anyone..o well guess I will be listening to Bill Johnson

I thought only Conference games will be broadcast on the HL website.
Am I wrong?

I think this game won't even be on there. Maybe we'll get Quagmire to get a bootleg copy, complete with close-ups on large bosoms. Giggity giggity goo.

It's a matter of cost. The Oakland game is televised because they have a local broadcast that we can feed into, that lowered the cost for us. It was too expensive to do the other games.

For those of us who don't live in the local area able to catch the games on WMLW, crazyfred was correct. There are going to be 7 men games televised on ESPN Full Court with an additional 2 women games televised. They are probably taking the feed for the games from WMLW as all of the 7 games being televised are also going to be televised on WMLW. The only game they didn't include was the game against Oakland. For the women, there are showing one of the two games being televised by WMLW, however instead of showing the game against Air Force on Dec. 7th, they are going to show the game against Wisconsin on Nov. 20th.
