To everyone who ever had a good idea about how WE can help grow this program and help turn it into THE program in the city, here's your chance to give your input and be a part of building Panthers athletics!
There will be a meeting tomorrow from 4-5pm for anyone interested in discussing the upcoming basketball season, Panther Madness (Midnight Madness), student spirit and other general athletics support. The meeting will be in the Athletics Classroom inside the Pavilion, Room number 148. There is a volleyball match that night vs. Green Bay in the Klotsche Center at 7pm. So anyone that can stay on campus and support the volleyball team is encouraged to do so.
If you have any questions, or would like to be involved but can't make it, please email Jason Clark at jtclark@uwm.edu.
I hope we can get a number of people to this. Show your support and show up!

This sucks for scheduling. I work tomorrow at 4, and I was hoping that this meeting would be scheduled far enough in advance that I'd be able to get someone to work for me if need be.
As it looks now, I'm unable to make it.
It normally wouldn't be a problem, but I'm way more persuasive and coherent in person than over a computer, most of you that I have met know that.

hopefully my car gets out of the mechanics by early afternoon at the latest but who knows. i believe dylanrocks and jdbrew were going to be there, who else will be coming?

greetings all,
its nice to finally post back on the board since my last post was probably from early march... but i agree that the meeting is in bad timing since unfortunately it is a friday afternoon and not too many people will be on campus at that time (including me) and i know i wont be off of the jobsite tommorrow till at least 4:30... so i guess if its possible to reschedule to something during the afternoon on an earlier weekday... but i understand that everyones schedule doesnt work that way... if possible keep me posted since i am i believe the last remaining senior member of the front row left side section...

For those who can't make it:
PLEASE send an email to Jason. He's the guy that you need to let know that you are still interested in this. A strong showing of support will help keep this sort of thing going.

A couple of points to make here
1) It's an initial meeting. I'm sure there will be more.
2) I'm sure there are enough people who will be there that just about every viewpoint will be represented.
3) I'm glad to see the Athletic Department reaching out like this.
4) I'll be there.
