Per the email I received today:
April 7, 2006
Dear Panther Fans,
This year was another banner year for Panther Basketball. Once again we had the pleasure of cutting down the nets in March, celebrating a Regular Season and Horizon League Tournament Championship. We won the first round game of the NCAA Tournament against a very good Oklahoma team, and lost the second round game to the eventual National Champion Florida Gators. Looking back on this season, I would definitely have to say the team met our high expectations. It was the support we received from our alumni and students that exceeded our expectations. We hope that you enjoyed the season, that you got a chance to wear your black and gold around town, and that we will see you in the stands cheering again next year.
I would like to invite you to join the Panther players, coaches, staff, and our families at the Hilton City Center to celebrate the 2005-06 UWM Men’s Basketball season. Kevin O’Connor will be our master of ceremonies at the season ending banquet on Saturday, May 6th, from 6-9 p.m. The cost is $35.00 per person.
The banquet will be the last opportunity to bid farewell to this year’s seven seniors and help commemorate the Panther’s fourth straight Horizon League Regular Season Championship and third trip to the NCAA Tournament in school history. Also, we will be awarding the David O. Nicholas Family Men’s Basketball Scholarship to one of our deserving players.
We have enclosed a card for you to fill out and mail to the basketball office for your reservation. You can also call or email my assistant, Deidre Merritt, with your reservation and payment information at (414) 229-5158 or deidrem@uwm.edu. If you would like to sponsor an athlete for dinner, please include it in your payment. Reservations are due by Monday, April 24th. It’s a great way for us to get to know each other a little better so please make it if you can!
If you have any questions, please call our Director of Basketball Operations, Ronnie Jones, at (414) 229-4490.

Are only season ticket holders invited this year? The athletics department hasn't posted anything on the website yet.
