Does anyone think we are ever going to get free chicken? I don't remember any game in my three years here that we have had 5 dunks in a game not even against Prarie View A&M. I want some free chicken, will it happen?

....I'll just say that "efforts" were made at the last regular season game against Detroit to give away chicken.

....I'll just say that "efforts" were made at the last regular season game against Detroit to give away chicken. Indeed there were.... and I speak for the entire section 106 crew when I say that it was sketchy at best, and it messed with the chicken mojo. FWIW, I do expect us to get the chicken next year. This is due in no small part to the fact that Ricky Franklin can explode to the basket and dunk. Have we ever had a PG who could dunk easily?

there certainly were "efforts" made. we even put up the controversial 4th chicken as a result. too bad we couldn't hit 5... btw, yet another reason to dislike GB's inept coach: his blatant demand to make sure we didn't get #5 during our regular season home blowout. what a tool.

I remember at least one from the '04-'05 season...the cheerleaders were handing out "eat free" coupons to everyone as they walked out! I think I gave mine to a homeless dude.
I think in the Detroit game this season they had 4 dunks with like 18 minutes to go in the 2nd half.
What a great promo idea by the Popeye's people...

Have we ever had a PG who could dunk easily? Probably have to go back to Marc Mitchell. I also remember Pat McCabe playing some point in his college career, as ugly as it was. And, we all know he can throw down based on those self-serving videos that have surfaced on the board.

OUCH! Marc could definitely throw down.......he and Craig often ran a pick and roll from the top......sometimes he would turn the corner and explode to the right (which was cleared out), and other times he would simple fade to the right wing and throw Craig an alley after he rolled .........Steve A at his best, right there!

I was at the tournament watching the klotche idiots and I was thinking how many of you will be there next year when you will be a bottom tier team in the Horizon.
the good days that Pearl would outcoach and outrecruit everyone in the Horizon are over. Had Pearl been the coach this year UWM could have been another GMU...
Jeter will not be able to compete with average to bellow average talent in the Horizon. And then we will see how many of you guys are still following the team.....
If Kowalczyk split the series this year it wont look pretty next year.....

Guys/Girls like this are the exact reason why I have such little respect for the intelligence of many UWGB fans.

Halo, one would think you would be too busy washing Wersch's jock to have time to stop on by . Back to the chicken question. The closest time I remember it happening was vs. YSU in 05. The team was up by 30 or so and they kept trying to dunk it everytime in the last 2 minutes of the game for the 5th dunk. Anyway, YSU comes back to hit meaningless shots to lose by 23 and cover the 24 point spread. Or maybe it was UWM giving up 8 points in the last minute was the reason I remember the game so well .

You were wearing a pathetic green and red satin Phoenix jacket, a Packer sweatshirt, and a UW hat. You were sitting on your hands because you had no piped in chants to repeat, your "band" was too busy doing your YMCA/UWGB routine to play any music, your "student section" of 5 girls was more interested in eating hot dogs than watching hoops, and your cheerleaders couldn't find anyone to cheer towards because evidently there is a lot more to do in Green Bay on a Saturday than travel a few hours to support your team. With the direction that the Packers are heading you better pray the poor man can split with the Panthers next year. Don't worry, win or lose the Klotsche Krazies will represent in downtown Ashwaubenon for years to come.
