Good for coach Majerus. College basketball needs him back in the game (as long as he's healthy enough to coach). He's such a student of the game. It would be a travesty for him not to be able to teach the game to impressionable young men.

He needs to coach the Bucks next year. Senator Kohl needs to get him. I'm sure the Bucks can provide better compensation than Arizona stinking state.

Through the grapevine, I'm told that Majerus doesn't like the pro game for the same reason George Karl doesn't want to coach in college: money...Majerus doesn't need the millions, because he has them already. Majerus will always be a college coach...unless I'm totally wrong on this one, and it's not like that ever happened before

It is hard to find a better X's and O's guy than Majerus. Hopefully someday he will lose the weight and become healthy.

No doubt, like him or not he will if he can get healthy coach a team into the tourney year in and year out no one can deny that and the only good thing that comes out of this, is perhaps he gets a chance to stay closer to home eventually. The other Pac 10 coaches collectively sigh and say "whew that was close" ASU is in shambles worst offensive team in the nation (almost) and their best player is xferring ouch.

I am kind of baffled that ASU doesn't get better recruits..........very large school, cool campus, lots to do, fun place to be (Tempe, Phoenix, Scottsdale), great climate, lot of "off the court talent"........... They definitely need to get a energetic coach in there to turn the program around (whomever that may be).

I agree Pnthr30, I've been to ASU's campus and all you should have to do is walk a recruit through campus and that recruit should be begging to sign. ASU and Auburn have the best "off the court talent" hands down, it's not even a question. UCLA comes in third in my book. Why the hell did I go to school in Wisconsin again

Why the hell did I go to school in Wisconsin again Because of the great winter months...and the child-bearing hips of the women...? Just a sarcastic guess...

IMO ASU is the better school in Arizona AU is a good school but not as good a location as ASU, AU is great if you're greek, there houses are insane.
