The UW-Milwaukee men's and women's basketball teams will be honored by the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday during the halftime ceremony of the Bucks-Suns game. I went to the AWESOME bucks game yesterday. Basically what happened was Carlos awarded a couple scholarships ($1000 seems kinda small for such a large event) and then introduced both coaches. Both teams got a good response but people cheered louder the men's team obviously. It was nice and the marquette-friendly bradley center welcomed them kindly.

I was lucky enough to get some courtside seats for the game yesterday. Your right, seemed like just an event to honor the two hoops teams and get the word out to the city about UWM athletics.
