If we play the way that we did today against Oklahoma i honestly don't think we will have a problem with Florida. They definitely didn't impress me in their game against South Alabama nor how they played in the regular season. It will also help when Tucker, Boo, AT, and Chris Hill score 73 our of 82!

Florida is no Oklahoma, especially in a home game for them.

Exactly. They are quicker, can employ the press and shoot the ball well. Plus they'll have thousands of gator fans trying to cheer them into the Sweet 16.

I really feel a key to this game is going to be getting good shots, hitting shots, and staying in this game for the first 30 minutes. If we can do that, this is a relatively young team. They know they've underperformed in the tourney the last few years under Donovan. They're playing at home, which puts more pressure on them...will they tighten up? Who knows, but I think our best hope is to try to keep it close and make them tighten up. We've done very well in close games, have plenty of big tournament experience, and are playing as well as we have all year.
Bring it Saturday fellas...
The nice thing about making it to the sweet 16, when we did last year, was having close to an entire week to gloat and celebrate. Let's hope we play a great game on Saturday...

UWM needs to take advantage of the youth of this Florida team, I think this game will see UWM slowing it down and using a lot of clock each possession although I liked the attacking style today and I know Jeter is very happy about getting to the line as much as they did against OU.
Defensively I don't foresee the Gators getting the same type of looks they got today and I see the Panthers playing extremely aggressive and looking to force many TO's. Taurean (SP) Green is a player that turns it over a lot get after him.
Florida is better than OU but the way UWM handled themselves today Saturday is going to be one hell of a game.

This gators team overachieved in the early part of the seasonrunning off to a 17-0 record and then stumbled in Feb with 6 losses (we are 28-6 on the season). -due to injuries to key starters -And in general played badly, attributable to youth! - all of those losses came in the last minute or so, when it could not make key plays and 3 off those were due to key turnovers in the last 20 s.
They since have a six game streak going with a win in the SEC tourney and in the first round of the NCAA's. Nevertheless, I feel this team has come around and knows what it takes to win every game and not take off a half like it did ealier in the season. One thing for sure is that this team will compete.

They were impressive in the South Alabama game, (at least what I saw it before the coverage went elsewhere). South Alabama's team is not a world beater by any means but Florida took them seriously and spanked them by 26 points. They sure came to play on Thursday.

I agree with that anaylsis. Remember, however that the gators went through injury problems during their losing streak, and they showed a lot of resolve against a tough South Carolina team that slows it down and grinds it out. History would dictate that we win by 10 or more or lose a close game. I like our chances, but of course I am biased.
