Good win guys, even though I picked Florida to win the in the next game in my brackets, I won't be upset if you guys win.
btw, Happy St. Patty's day!

Same to you fellow. Hopefully all the true HL fans will be posting two victories this week, ours over Florida and Butler's over Florida State

[they didn't say anything besides "UWM will lose to FL anyways". Must have been a Marquette Grad.

The emphasis was on MU on all the stations. The CBS 58 reporter was really bad, almost consoling the MU fans pointing out that they had such a great season and nothing to be ashmed of (other than losing to a weaker version of the team we beat last year) yea, noticed while watching The Office they had a preview of the 10:00 news saying "Marquette fans are getting over a tough loss in the NCAA Tournament. more on this on the 10:00 news." what is that? noticed it on too many stations. sad really. also noticed it with the mid-day update on CBS. UWM-OU was the last game they talked about, and they didn't say anything besides "UWM will lose to FL anyways". at least we respect us. They are a bunch of angry individuals that suck too much to get a job at a real station. Local newscasters and nothing more. Bitter people and nothing more.

This game happened 10 years ago today. Unfortunately, zero ncaa tourney wins since (actually are there any post season wins in any tourney since then? Obviously excluding the hlt...I think we were one and done in all our nits and c-tourneys) I just thought it would be fun to relive the moment. There were a lot of interesting threads during this part of the archives including rumors about power conference schools interested in jeter. If you have sometime today go back to page 100ish for some good memories.

Trying to think back to Valpo's most recent tourney win? Or Green Bay's? Or UIC's? Or Oakland's?
I think Cleveland State might have had one in there, but that was a long time ago ...

I forget that the team we lost to in 2005 lost in the national championship. The team we lost to in 2006 won the national championship.
I'd rather not talk about 2003

Ah, the Pearl era -- simultaneously the best and worst thing that ever happened to the Milwaukee basketball program.
